Flashback to 1999

November 1999.  Rowena and Mama Helen see Tess and me off at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, along with the rest of our families.  Tess and I had just gotten married in Valencia, Bukidnon.  She was moving to the USA for good.  We would arrive on a Wednesday in San Francisco, in time for Thanksgiving celebration.

Tess' cousin Rodney Baluyut, his girlfriend, Rowena and Reggie Ronquillo, Tess and me in Tagaytay.  We were staying at the huge house of their ate Mary Ann's friend.

After being separated since December 2004, I reunited with Tess and our girls in the cooler, quieter highlands of Bukidnon. ​This is a 30-second raw window into that afternoon, captured on an Olympus C3000z in the Barangay of Poblacion. You can hear the unedited "hiss" of 2005 technology, but more importantly, you hear my late wife, Tess.
