Flashback: Baccalaureate Mass at St Basil the Great Catholic Church

June 16, 1985. Vallejo, CA. The hooligans (as Tony said recently) in blue, left to right: Nathaniel Marucut (covered face), J.F. Perseveranda, Marcelino Lim, Rudy Jandoc and Tony Palisoc. Our high school graduation ceremony would take place a fews days later at Corbus Field on June 19.

Funny Thing

Rudy and I would become roommates in January 1992. We shared a one bedroom in South Beach Marina Apartments in SOMA in San Francisco. It was $860 a month back then. Last I checked it's now going for close to $3000 a month!

So Tony P would organize the meet-up for tonight and created a new SMS group. Every time I texted the group (or liked a response), I would get the following text back:

Free Msg: Recipient [1808nnnnnnn] unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active

My old roommate had blocked me! I didn't say anything until Dondi said something.

Dondi: I keep getting an undeliverable text for an 808 number 🤔🤔

Me: I think we're blocked, Mike. 😂

Irene: 808 is confused too 😂

Dondi: We're being blocked? Lol...block na block 

Glenn: Sorry. My mistake. That is Rudy's current number. 🤣

Me: Ok. I'm officially blocked. 👍🏽😂

Tony P: Have a great new year all (both blocked and not blocked). 😂Count is at 12 for Friday w maybes from GLIMARR members Lulu and Rachel.

Missy: Dang now I'm blocked from Rudy 😂 I wasn't yesterday lol

Me: Really?! Wow. I guess he just wants to hear from Glenn. Lol

Missy: It's your fault lol

Gloria: Huh?! He blocked more ppl.Dang 😆

Irene: Is Rudy mad ? Or just want to be alone?

Glenn: Lol. I think he is pretty private these days. When we did the cruise he was weary about giving any of his information to the cruise agent. 🤣🤷

Me: I definitely have to blog about this! 😆😂🤣
