My Primary Doctor said I had a Heart Attack

But my new cardiologist said I did not.

He recommended I have an Echocardiogram (ultrasound of heart). There you go Joy.

When I asked about the stress test, he thought it would only be 70% accurate since I have a few conditions. He was concerned about my high blood pressure and my cholesterol. Dr. Rhim said my triglycerides and cholesterol were under control in early 2020, but have shot up. When he asked me about it, I said my diet had gone south the past few years.

He said if I don't address these things, the likelihood of me having a heart attack in the next 5 to 10 years is 20-30%. Dr. Noces, my primary doctor, showed me three days ago on his computer monitor the number 27.4% that I likely will have a heart attack in "the next couple of  years."

Dr. Rhim suggested I take Omega-3 supplements, but definitely do daily exercises/walks in addition to weights. He said I do not have to worry about "inferior ischemia" on my EKG. Just diet and exercise.

Which I already knew. Sleep, diet & exercise. I'd always done all those well -- until sleep apnea hit me.

Do you remember Job from the Old Testament? I now know why he lost everything. He must have had sleep apnea! LOL

By the way kids, my cardiologist said that if you buy "bad food" from Costco, bring it with you to your apartment. Do not leave it for me to eat. LOL

Anyone need anything from Costco?

It was raining this morning. Rivermaya's "Umaaraw, Umuulan" came to mind.

That should be on the all-tagalog CD I created years ago that I played when I brought the kids to school, picked them up, and on road trips (especially if I wanted them to take a nap).

The other song, South Border's RAINBOW, was my most played song (per Spotify) on my phone last year 2024.

South Border - Rainbow (Lyric)

Take a little time, baby
See the butterflies' colors
Listen to the birds that were sent
To sing for me and you
Can you feel me?
This is such a wonderful place to be
Even if there is pain now
Everything would be all right
For as long as the world still turns
There will be night and day
Can you hear me?
There's a rainbow always after the rain
